Backtrack
Introducing Backtrack, the music show with a twist! Every week, one of the nation's favourite artists will be featured with bios, trivia, interviews and not to mention airplay of some of the artist's most accomplished (and rare) tracks.
The show will cover such acts as Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, The Beatles and many more hugely influential and popular acts. We won't just be teaching you stuff you didn't know but giving you a break from the repetitive chart music you hear every day. So if you fancy a change, tune in from 6pm on Thursdays, only on Looprevil Radio.

Off The Post
Off The Post is Looprevil Radio’s own football-themed show, which will tackle all things football. Premier League, Champions League, La Liga, Serie A and of course JMU’s own varsity teams, we want to make sure it all gets covered so that you need go nowhere else for your football fix.
Twice a week the crew will bring you their take on what goes on in the world of football in a chatty yet informative show. Like an ungodly spawn of Football Weekly and The Football Ramble, Off The Post hopes to make you nod approvingly, throw your radio around in disagreement, laugh and cry. Kick-off is at 2pm Mondays and Fridays, so make sure you tune in!

Callum Reece
I'm Callum and I'm studying international journalism. I moved to Liverpool from London after a gap year where I worked for an English speaking newspaper based in Honduras.
I'm a huge fan of a variety of different music such as Funk, Soul, Alternative, Electro, Hip Hop, Drum and Bass and Dubstep and will be hosting my self titled show specializing in urban music.

The Folk & Roots Show
Folk music is often described as the music of the people, about our roots. Encompassing everything from working class protest songs from the 80s to modern love ballads, folk is one of the oldest genres, with its roots in the middle ages.
Since the mid 1990s folk music has experienced a resurgence, and the profile of folk music in the UK is higher now than it has been for thirty years or more. Focusing mainly on modern English language acoustic music but occasionally venturing farther afield, join us as we explore Liverpool's thriving, if somewhat hidden, folk scene, and sample the best the rest of the world has to offer. Tune in Thursdays at 2pm!

The Loophole
Tamsin and Lizzie use their impeccable taste to handpick and broadcast to the masses what they consider to be the best from the new music scene, along with alternative classics from throughout the ages. Think Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Kills, Florence and the Machine, Bob Dylan, The Strokes, hell we might even throw a bit of Bjork in there once in a while for good measure.
Tune in to keep informed of what Merseyside has to offer in terms of live music while The Liverpool Track of the Month showcases new music from our adopted homeland. Chat will surround the highs and lows, trials and tribulations of being co-habiting LJMU students. Make sure you find The Loophole on Looprevil Radio, Wednesdays at 5pm!

The Nude Statesman
Offering up a sideways look at the week’s biggest news stories and cultural events are the sprightly trio of Greg, Dan and Laurence. The NUde Statesman will provide its own, light-hearted slant on whatever goes on in the world of news and culture, interspersed with chitchat, trivia, quizzes and reviews.
Expect intelligent comedy and cracking music, brought to you every Friday from 10am till noon. The Nude Statesman - Culture stripped bare.

The Rock Show
The Rock Show, so aptly named, is a show dedicated to the rock and metal genres of music. There will be a rather widespread selection of bands played on the show, Three Doors Down, Bon Jovi, Theory Of A Deadman, Iron Maiden and Nickelback to name a few.
The Rock Show will also be doing reviews of new albums and artists on the music scene, as long as they satisfy our need for fuzz-pedals and hotel room trashings. The Rock Show airs every Wednesday at 7pm, so make sure you tune in!
